Hi Folks!

Hope everyone is doing well as we head into the summer months. Still dry here but other portions of the state have seen some good rains. We had 6” in several days on our country at Gonzales. Talked to lots of folks in Abilene at The Western Heritage Classic who had had good rains. The Abilene area really did look good.

The Western Heritage Classic was very well attended with what I thought was a bigger than normal crowd. People were ready to go somewhere and do something. They had a good set of horses at the horse sale and they really sold well.

Don’t forget the Summer Stampede next month at the Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock. Lots of good things for sale and I am sure a good time will be had by all.

There are lots of illegals still coming through the country. The Border Patrol doesn’t have time to chase them because the agents are tied up having to process and give medical aid to the ones who surrender. Doubt they will ever get it fixed.

Talk to you next month,

Gary Dunshee
