Happy New Year!

Hope everyone made it through the holidays in good health and Santa Claus was good to you. Seems like we had lots of folks visiting this part of the world, especially from Christmas until New Year's. I think it was a mix of hunters and campers headed to Big Bend National Park. They have had so many people visiting the Park they have to have a car leave before they let another one in.

The elk hunts seem to be going well. I haven't heard of any monster size trophy elk, but lots of respectable ones. I saw photos of three really nice mule deer form south of Marfa, one of which scored 200 points. I also saw photos of a male mountain lion that weighed about 160 pounds. That's a lot of kitty cat...

The crowds at the WRCA World Championships were the biggest ever. Got to see lots of old friends and made some new ones. It was one of the best shows we have been to.

Our next show is the "Art of the Cowgirl" in Queen Creek, Arizona January 19th - 23rd. This will be our first time there. It has a really good format. Everything is about the Cowgirl: an all girl ranch rodeo, all girl horse sale, all girl clinics, and the World's Greatest Horsewoman all rolled into five days with a world class trade show. If that's not enough for you to do, you can also attend Brian Lebel's "Old West" show and auction which is going on January 21st - 23rd just down the road in Mesa, Arizona.

February 1st - 3rd we will have a booth at the National Cattlemen's Beef Convention at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.

Hope you have a really good 2022 and you get all of your rain when you need it.
