Howdy Folks!

Well it did finally cool off. It has been in the 50's every morning this week here t my house. It gets into the lower 80's during the day. We had a couple of nice showers that were fairly even across the country about three weeks ago. The grass in the mountains grew for a couple of weeks but has shut it down this last week with the chilly nights. The ranches out in the flats and lower elevations where it stays warmer can still grow something, either grass or weeds.

Don't forget the WRCA World Championships in Amarillo next month. That is a really cool event for cattle and horse people of all kinds to go to. Be careful though! If you go once, you will go every year. It's like a ranching Reunion. Everybody there is on the same wavelength. The rodeo is good but there is a lot more to it than just a rodeo. The trade show is really good with something for everyone. They have a ranch horse show and the Youth Ranch Rodeo Championships as well. We will hopefully be having a book signing with Ed Ashurt and Carl Johnson on Saturday. They are still trying to find an empty spot for us to have it in, so keep an eye out for updates. Hope to see you there!

Christmas is just around the corner and custom orders have started coming in. We should be able to do custom work right up until the week of Christmas, but the earlier is better.

Heard they shot a 401 point bull elk at the 06 this last month. My neighbor shot a really nice 7x7 bull that scored394 BC points. Lots of really nice bulls being harvested this year. I guess the dry summer did not affect the horn growth since they were in such good shape this spring when the horn growth started. Guess they will start hunting aoudad before too much longer. If you need any hunting supplies made with leather we do a lot besides rifle scabbards and holsters. Cartridge cartridge carriers in 2 styles, ammo boxes, gun belts, rifle slings, roll up knife cabinets, shotgun cases, binocular straps, and rifle stock covers are just a few of the things we can put together for you. Just give us a call at (800)634-4502 and we will help you make your idea a reality.

Hope you have a good month!
